Take One owner acquires EAE
Take One Media’s owner, Menzies Distribution, has announced the acquisition of Scottish-based arts and tourism leaflet display specialist EAE (Edinburgh Arts and Entertainment).
By taking on EAE, Scotland’s premier print and marketing display specialists, we are extending our position as the UK’s leading business in display and distribution of tourism information and we are delighted to be able to work with and help develop the UK tourism industry.
EAE is the market leader in Scotland for tourism information distribution and was established in 1987 by a consortium of 9 heritage, cultural and tourism organisations. It is well known and handles the print of many arts, culture and tourist attractions and the Edinburgh Fringe. Like Take One, it offers leaflet merchandising on a 12 monthly basis and a TIC service. It also has a comprehensive poster display service into pubs, clubs and other specially chosen outlets.
Our increased coverage across the whole UK means that together we have around 10,400 merchandised displays, 2,300 clients and over 29,000 outlets. There are exciting times ahead with the sharing of experience, innovations and technology – particularly in the Capitals London and Edinburgh. There is also greater opportunity to attract and engage visitors from further afield.
The existing staff will continue to deliver customer campaigns and there will be a process of migrating to our systems. Take One’s structure and warehouse arrangements are unchanged. You should continue to deliver your leaflets in the usual way and to liaise with your BDM about your campaign.
