Take One Media Sales Manager runs for UKinbound Board of Directors

Mark Shannon, Take One Media’s Sales Manager for London has put himself forward for UKinbound’s Board of Directors 2019-2021 nominations.

Mark will be standing for 1 of 3 places available for Service Providers. Members are eligible to vote and ballot papers are now being sent out.


Mark Shannon Bio

Mark has worked for Take One Media for over 12 years and is an expert on the ever changing London tourism landscape.  Prior to Take One Mark worked in roles in travel, print, hospitality and retail.

Outside of work Mark lives in Kent with his partner and son, and can be found most weekends in the summer, on a cricket pitch, where he is club captain for local side Wye, and this year leading them to winning the league. He also enjoys visiting local attractions and holidaying in British coastal resorts.


Please tell us why you would like to be a Director of the Board and what you would bring to the role

UK tourism is entering what could be a defining period for the industry with so much uncertainty surrounding what Brexit will mean. Ukinbound’s members will require the association to be ahead of the game and guide them through this critical time. Not only this but we need to realise the opportunity we have to showcase the UK’s fantastic product whilst Europe’s and the World’s eyes are on us.

Being a Director of the board at this time is an important role, I will bring passion, enthusiasm and energy that will be required to ensure this and any opportunities are not overlooked. Alongside my in depth knowledge of the London tourist market I can also draw on my relationships and touch points around the country to give a broader UK insight.
