Here is what some of our 800 Scottish customers say about working with us…

Visit Scotland

Dr. Mike Cantlay, Chairman of VisitScotland
“I would like to congratulate EAE. VisitScotland is working to encourage tourism businesses to be more sustainable and, by supporting the Scottish Government’s and VisitScotland’s efforts to increase low-carbon sustainable growth, EAE is an excellent example to other businesses. Scotland has the potential to be one of the most sustainable countries in Europe and EAE’s approach is to be highly commended.”

Karen Wilson, VisitScotland Group Areas Marketing Manager
“We are delighted with the way the new EAE print delivery service to our VisitScotland Information Centres is going. EAE staff are very dedicated and ensure a quality of service.”

Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society

Kath M Mainland, Chief Executive, Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society
“The Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme is a central part of the marketing campaign for the world’s largest arts festival. EAE have been contracted by the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society to provide distribution of the Fringe Programme across Edinburgh and throughout Scotland since 1989, and have provided a consistently efficient and reliable service.

Last year EAE handled distribution of 307,000 copies of the programme to over 4,000 sites in total. This included venues and outlets across Edinburgh and in the surrounding area, all Visitor Information Centres across Scotland and selected Tourist Information Centres in the North East of England. EAE also coordinated large-scale courier deliveries of the programme to 47 selected Waterstones stores and four selected Fopp stores throughout the UK and in Northern Ireland. EAE also managed distribution of 20,000 copies of the programme throughout London via a sub-contractor. Because of the embargo on some of the programme contents until the launch day, and the length of time required to produce the programme, the turnaround time from delivery from the printers to beginning distribution is very tight and EAE rise to this challenge, ensuring that as soon as the programme launches it is available to the public in as many sites as possible.

In addition to an excellent distribution service, EAE also provided detailed reporting throughout and at the end of the campaign, and dealt with all enquiries and requests from the Fringe Society in a quick and helpful manner, often going above and beyond their required duties, for example to help with emergency weekend deliveries and rearranging distribution schedules at short notice in response to changes to the print and delivery schedule.

EAE are friendly and professional to deal with and working with them means that the Society can be confident that distribution of the programme, crucial to both Fringe participants and audiences, runs smoothly and on schedule, and that the programme reaches all of the outlets that we need it to. In the view of the Fringe Society, EAE offers good value for money.”

Loch Ness Centre

David A Bremner, Loch Ness Centre

Scottish Youth Hostels Association

“We operate over 60 youth hostels that are spread across Scotland from Edinburgh to the Outer Hebrides. Our customers vary from dedicated overseas backpackers tackling Munros to Scottish family groups enjoying great value short breaks. EAE help us to reach all of our audiences, targeting overseas visitors with displays in key gateways such as airports and railway stations and attracting domestic customers through outlets like supermarkets and garden centres. We’ve been with EAE since 2005 and they are key to delivering our 300,000 brochures into the hands of the right people at the right places”
