Take One expands its operations

Take One Media has strengthened its position as the UK’s leading tourism literature display specialist with the acquisition of well-known, West Midlands display company, Oakleaf.

Over a number of years Oakleaf has built up a comprehensive range of display outlets across the West Midlands region, and an excellent client base. Now is the ideal time for Take One to grow the business further – with its greater resource and extensive knowledge in the literature distribution market.

Literature media sales are doing well – literature display may not have the glamour of TV advertising or posters but independent research shows that it is one of the best ways to build awareness of visitor attractions and certainly the most cost-effective. Sixteen percent of attraction-going consumers are aware of an attraction as a result of seeing a leaflet; and nearly 50% of these then go on to visit (BDRC Research September 2007).
